Required documents for foreign citizens:

    * Marriage permit, officialy  translated and stamped in accordance with the 1961 Hague Convention
    * Green card or visa,
    If the marriage permit is to be issued in Greece the following documents are also required:
    * Birth certificate, translated and stamped in accordance with the 1961 Hague Convention
    * Certificate by a conulate, embassy or other relevant authority, that no impediment exists againgst this marriage
    * Advertisement of the marriage in a daily local news paper
    * Receipt of a 17.60 € fee or stamp of 5€ x3
